Meredith Salenger Bio

Meredith Salenger, an actress as well as a writer and producer was born in Malibu, CA. When she was 10, she started her acting career by singing and dancing orphan in "Annie" in 1982, a film by John Huston. At 14 she appeared in "The Journey of Nattygann" alongside John Cusack (1982), and Ray Wise (1985). It was the first American film to be awarded the Moscow Film Festival's gold prize. Meredith was named "Best actress in Drama" at the Youth in Film Awards. The film featured Meredith's amazing performance in the role of Natty Gann, who was a sexy character. Meredith was the main character in "Dream a Little Dream" in the film, which was a duet with The Coreys and "A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon" The latter film Meredith quit Hollywood to attend Harvard for a four-year break. She earned her degree cum laude in Psychology. Meredith was cast as Steve Carrell in "H.U.D" and "Chicks" and "Chicks" with the same scriptwriters as Seinfeld. She has appeared in guest roles on "Will and Grace,"" the show of Charlie Sheen "Anger Management", Happy! and numerous other shows. Her dramatic roles on TV shows like 24: Dawson's Creek and Grey's Anatomy, Daredevil and Damages, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Cold Case ), Close to Home), and many more. They were all extremely entertaining. Meredith was also in the cast with Bill Pullman and Brendan Gleeson in David Kelley's "Lake Placidas well as Oliver Platt, Oliver Platt, and Betty White. John Carpenter's"Village of the Damned" was also part of Meredith's filmography as well as Christopher Reeves and Mark Hamill in various Independent films. Meredith was later voiced by characters in Star Wars films like The Clone Wars, Rebels and The Force Awakens. You can listen to her voiceovers on The Secret Life of Pets 2. My Little Pony, Teen Titans Go to the Movies, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! She has been able to successfully resolve more than 100 cases within the Los Angeles Superior Courts. In 2017, she got married to comedian Patton Oswalt and became a mother to Alice who is a sweet and playful child. She has written and produced sitcoms and animated series from 2021 along with Matt Boren. She also voiced a variety of animated shows such as Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. HULU. (2021) She is the host of a hilarious podcast along with her husband, named "Did You Receive My Text?"
