Denise Lee Richards Bio

In 1998, she was in the music video of the Blues Traveler song Canadian Rose. Richards was the nuclear-physicist Christmas Jones for the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough (1999), and it had a strong box office gross. Although Richards considered her role "brainy", “athletic”, and had depth of character, critics found it not credible. Comments were made about her attire, which included a low-cut tank and tight shorts. Entertainment Weekly named her one of the worst Bond girls in 2008 and she was awarded the "Worst Performing Actress" award at the 1999 Razzie Award. Richards' film work was not the only thing she has done. Richards also made appearances on the Situation Comedies Spin City and Two and a Half Men, Friends, and Seinfeld. In 2005, Richards also starred as a guest star in the UPN series Sex, Love & Secrets. Richards was seen in a variety of roles in films that both parodied and used her image as an sex symbol throughout the 2000s. Five months after giving birth, Richards posed in a nude pictorial for Playboy magazine in December 2004. Richards also posed semi-nude to Jane magazine's July 2006 issue, raising money for Clothes Off Our Back Foundation. Maxim's 50 Sexiest Women ranked her 9th in 1999. She was also voted 2nd in FHM’s USA 100 Sexiest Women 2001 and 5th in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women 2001. AskMen.com'sMost Beautiful Women ranked her 19th in 1999. Richards was paired with Maksim Chumerkovskiy for the 8th season on Dancing with the Stars. She was eliminated in second place on March 24, 2009. Richards sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", during the seventh-inning stretch of Wrigley Field's May 1, 2009, at Wrigley Field.
