2 Chainz Biography

 Tauheed Epps (also known as 2 Chainz), is an American rapper and hip hop artist. Georgia native, Epps began his career in music when he and a high school buddy created the hip-hop group Playaz Circle. Their debut album "Supply and Demand", was a modest success. Epps his second album, 'Based on a T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200 and was an enormous success. It was an enormous hit and sold 147,000 copies within its first week! His success with this album has earned him the status of a household name and he quickly became a star in the US's hip-hop scene. He's been nominated in six Grammy categories, of which one was won by "No Problem." When his bag with promethazine and marijuana was found in his bag on a flight leaving Los Angeles International Airport, he was arrested. However, his brushes with the law haven't affected his popularity much. His fourth and current studio album, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music", released in June 2017. "Based on the T.R.U." Story', 2 Chainz' debut studio album, can be considered his first major work and his most successful. The album was a huge success, and peaked at the first position in the US Billboard 200, as well as sold 147,000 copies within one week. The album was sold out more than 623,000 times throughout the year. The album was a hit with songs like "No Lie, 'Birthday Song and I'm Different. It was also nominated to win 'Best Rap Album at the 55th Grammy Awards. The reviews for the album were mixed. 2 Chainz wed Kesha Ward in 2013. The couple have three kids together, Heaven, Harmony, Halo. He has a long and successful career but is well-known for his penchant for getting into trouble with the law. He has been detained numerous times for drug possession.
