Dawson, born May 9, 1979in America] is an American actress. In 1995 she made
her feature film debut in the independent drama Kids. Her roles in the
following films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002).
Dawson has also performed voice-over work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC
Comics, and ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her role in Rent, Dawson won the
Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture; for her part
in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award for the Best
actress in a Comedy. Dawson was born on May 9, 1979 in New York City. Isabel
Celeste is her mother and has Afro-Cuban descent. Isabel was just 16 at the
time that Rosario was born. Isabel was never married to Rosario's father,
Patrick C. Harris. Rosario was one when her mother got married to Greg Dawson
(a construction worker). Through this marriage, Dawson has a half-brother,
Clay, who is four years younger than her. Dawson is also well-known for her
various roles in comic book adaptations. The actress was Ahsoka Tano's
character on The Mandalorian's second series in 2020. The character will also
play the lead role in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. In 2021, she'll
reprise her role on Young Rock, a Dwayne Johnson comedy autobiographical
comedy.
