Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

 Kaitlyn Anne Vincie, born December 10, 1987 was an American journalist and sports host. She is a reporter at Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing after she was granted a pit-lane pass. She then graduated from Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. After SceneDaily released her self-made blogs on NASCAR and she was able to draw attention. Vincie was born on the 10th of December 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family relocated to Warrenton at the time Vincie was in high school. Vincie is the daughter and granddaughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather. He was a member of Bridgewater College's faculty. At an early age Vincie showed an interest in journalism. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie was a track and field athlete and also served as the coach of the school's wrestling team for four seasons. She was the winner of the 800-meter event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had the pleasure of meeting Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and gave Vincie plenty of tips. In 2010 she completed her degree at Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie worked as an intern in the athletics department of the university. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. She wrote her senior dissertation on gender inequality in auto racing which was focused on woman race car driver Danica Patrick. She was fascinated by the sport when she got a pitlane access to the NASCAR All-Star Race. She names Krista Voda as well as Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
