Renee Kathleen Zellweger

Renee Kathleen Zellweger, was born in Katy, Texas on April 25 the year 1969. Her mother Kjellfrid (Andreassen), is a former nurse and midwife born in Norway. Kven (Finnish), in addition to being of Swedish and Norwegian descent. Emil Erich Zellweger is her father. He is a Swiss engineer. They got are married in 1963. Drew Zellweger is Renee's brother, and he was born on 15 February 1967. As a member of the drama group, Renee became interested in acting. She attended an acting class at University of Texas (Austin) and began to consider acting as a profession. She was keen to pursue acting upon graduation. However, Hollywood can be difficult to get into which is why Renee decided that she would stay in Texas and apply for roles around Houston. She was able to get roles in films such as Reality Bites (1994), and Empire Records (1995). While working on the sequel, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994) She made friends with Matthew McConaughey, another Hollywood up-and-comer. Renee was able to observe him working on a project that caught her attention. She auditioned and was awarded the role in Love and A.45 (1994). It was a success that earned her the critical praise for her to make the decision to move to Los Angeles. Her big break came with another film role in The Whole Wide World (1996). Cameron Crowe was busy casting Jerry Maguire (1996) in which she starred Tom Cruise. Crowe was looking at actresses like Bridget Fonda (Camden Diaz), Winona Ryder (Winona Ryder) and Marisa Tomei when he was able to see Zellweger's performance from The Whole Wide World (1996). He auditioned Zellweger and was certain he had found his Dorothy Boyd. Renee continued her success with a handful of small independent films. After receiving more praise from critics She was confident enough to reenter the realm of large-budget Hollywood films. She played opposite Meryl Streep in the tear-jerker One True Thing (1998). Also, she starred with Jim Carrey in Me, Myself & Irene (2000) and began to be romantically involved with Carrey soon afterward. In the role of the title character in Bridget Jones's Diary (2001).
